Travel again soon. SOON!

Man…things have been so crazy lately. There is a never-ending sea of crisis. I’ve even been to the hospital a few times. But finally, the Canadian and American border is opening! You still can’t really travel to the states but unless it’s “important” yet, but it is getting there. We also can finally eat inside a restaurant this week. It’s been a real long time since I’ve done that.

Summer is here in Canada and it is actually nice out. At least where I am. Some parts are very hot but here is a nice 23C. We get such a short time for decent weather in Canada.

It has been so long since we have gone traveling! I recently saw this message from Anthony Bourdain and I feel it is really fitting to how we travel 🙂

I’m a big believer in winging it. I’m a big believer that you’re never going to find perfect city travel experience or the perfect meal without a constant willingness to experience a bad one. Letting the happy accident happen is what a lot of vacation itineraries miss, I think, and I’m always trying to push people to allow those things to happen rather than stick to some rigid itinerary.” -Anthony Bourdain

Not everyone can travel that way. So many need every single detail planned out and miss those little moments of craziness that result in some of the best memories. It was so great that when we first met and traveled I knew you had the same outlook.

I look forward to the time that we can travel again really soon.
