Besides that, life has been full of ups and downs, hasn’t it? I have been focusing on some new recipes again recently, so I think it is time to add them for the world to see.
I am back coding some things and have been really focused in that lately. I’ve been thinking about how fast time slips by when you’re immersed in something you love or at least something that challenges you. Coding is one of those things for me. I can sit down with a cup of coffee in the morning and suddenly look up to see that the sun has already set. It’s both exciting and a little scary, but I think that’s the sign of progress.
And I DO feel I am making progress, finally…. and it’s been put off for far too long. I’ve been revisiting a bunch of older projects I left on the back burner, and it feels great to finally see them moving forward again. Besides all that, I’ve been trying to enjoy the little things, like taking a walk when the weather is nice or sneaking in a quick coffee break before diving back into the never-ending code.
Outside of that, I’ve been trying to strike a balance between work and enjoying the present. Whether it’s catching a sunset or treating myself to that ridiculously overpriced latte, I’m learning to slow down a bit. Perhaps this is the beginning of something better, more creative, more trying, and more sharing. only time will tell.
Lately, I’ve been reading a few books I had gathering dust on my shelf, and I forgot how much I love getting lost in a story that isn’t on a screen. It feels refreshing to have something that pulls me away from my laptop, even if it’s only for a few hours in the evening.
Maybe it’s time this space becomes more than just a sporadic update spot and turns into a little corner of creativity again.
So here’s to more moments worth writing about
